About us

Norske Destillerier/Norwegian Distilleries is an NGO for Norwegian Craft Distilleries.

The organisation’s purpose is to promote common issues that concern the members vis-à-vis authorities, politicians and administration, and which affect the members’ framework conditions nationally and internationally.

Norske Destillerier/Norwegian Distilleries must also promote research and development that can contribute positively to the members’ products, processes and market development, as well as be the members’ mouthpiece vis-à-vis the state owned Vinmonopolet (monopoly retailer for wines and spirits) in relation to general framework conditions.

Norske Destillerier/Norwegian Distilleries must promote a responsible drinking culture.
